Gifts also assist with the day-to-day costs of providing on-site, phone, and on-line referral support.

The Milestones Annual Fund consists of annual, unrestricted gifts. Because Annual Fund dollars are used in the same year that they are received, each gift has an immediate impact on the quality of education, training, resources, and programming that Milestones is able to provide and also enables us to build upon previous success.

Roadmap to Adulthood

Parents and families affected by autism face particular challenges when navigating the transition from public school to adulthood.  The Roadmap to Adulthood project, which will be sustained by this endowment, empowers families to access resources, advocate for their adult children, and navigate government support systems.  Through this project, Milestones trains service providers and educators to more effectively work with young adults with autism spectrum disorder and links both parents and professionals with services.

The Milestones Autism Organization’s Pathway to the Future Endowment Fund is a pool of gifts that provides ongoing financial assistance to Milestones and its programs particularly the Roadmap to Adulthood.  The fund is held and managed by the Cleveland Foundation which invests the gifts for greater return on investment and prudent growth.

Each gift is vital to ensuring the success of the adult services program, as well as to the continuity of Milestones mission to provide access, education, training, and collaboration for the autism community. The fund offers donors a variety of giving options. Do you want to honor a special friend or loved one?  Creating a special project fund is a great way to pay tribute. You can celebrate a significant occasion, remember a loved one, commemorate a milestone or recognize someone special with a special project fund in their name. Gifts in honor of life-cycle events including birthdays, anniversaries, wishes for speedy recoveries as well as memorial giving, encourage you to remember or honor a friend or loved one on a special occasion by contributing to our annual fund, endowment campaign, or general fund. We will send a card to the honoree, acknowledging this gift to Milestones. In the case of a gift in memory, we will send a notification to the family that this meaningful gift has been made. Your gift will help Milestones grow while recognizing a friend or family member.
