Tips for Teaching Essential Independence Skills

Autism: From Mind Blindness to Context Blindness

This article discusses the fact that mind blindness correlates significantly with verbal IQ. People with Asperger’s Syndrome or high functioning autism have better social cognitive abilities than previously thought. The article points out that there is a difference between social ability and social performance which is the other key piece of the social cognitive puzzle in context.
