Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing a volunteer movement to provide friendship, leadership, job, and inclusive living opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

To join, individuals must apply on the website www.bestbuddies.org/join. Select "Ohio" and then the program you would like to join.

Elementary, Middle, and High Schools: Matched with a student at the same school and/or participate in chapter events

Colleges: Matched with a college student at the school and/or participate in chapter events (ages 18-25)

Citizens: Adult friendship match made by a Best Buddies staff member with a community volunteer (recommended age 25+)

The application consists of some basic questions and then a matching survey for those who want to be paired with a buddy. There are several chapters of Best Buddies throughout Ohio. For more information, visit their website or contact ohio@bestbuddies.org.
