Chapel Haven Schleifer Center is a transitional living program whose mission is to empower adults with developmental and social disabilities to live independent and self-determined lives. Our comprehensive, individualized residential programs located in New Haven, CT provide learning in practical academics, life skills, apartment living, job development, social communication, recreation, and help with college. Individuals may then transition into a community apartment with lifelong support services and a continuing education component. We also offer virtual programs, structured day programs, recreation programs, vocational training, and a host of other options.

Applicants are:
- 18+ with intellectual disabilities/autism spectrum disorders
- High school graduates or still completing high school credits through an IEP
- Emotionally and behaviorally stable
- Motivated to learn independence
