WRILC offers several types of programs for all ages to help people with disabilities become more independent in daily life. They do this through independent living skills classes as well as self- and community advocacy, peer support, nursing home, and youth transition.

They serve Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties. There are also seasonal and monthly social events and peer support programs (stress & anxiety, healthy community living, blind & visually impaired support group, consumer advocacy team, etc. for our consumers. They also teach braille, have computer classes as needed, and teach emergency preparedness. They recently added a healthcare coordinator to assist consumers with healthcare education and issues, and build relationships with medical facilities.

New support groups will start soon: a parent/advocate group, a trauma-informed care group, and an emergency preparedness group.
