Coaching & Consultations

Coaching

Milestones is the first call for help at each new stage.   (216) 464-7600 or email

All family members—parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, and caregivers—and professionals are welcome to call the Milestones office for answers to autism-related questions and knowledgeable advice. Find help planning, preparing, and prioritizing to meet your child’s short and long-term needs.

Here’s how our “coaching” services work:

  1. Contact the Milestones office at (216) 464-7600 during normal business hours or email anytime.
  2. After a short intake process to get your contact information and the reason you are calling, you will be directed for further help.
  3. Our staff will compile resources and recommendations and get back to you by phone or email within 1-2 business days.  Staff members are always happy to personally discuss options and referral services with you. There is no charge for this service.
  4. If you have more extensive needs, our staff may suggest that you come in for an office consultation.

(*Please note that Milestones is not a direct service provider.)

Here are some of the many areas we are able to help families with:

  • Concerns related to a new diagnosis
  • School and IEP issues
  • ABA trainings and tutors
  • Challenging behaviors
  • Recreational and therapeutic resources
  • Summer camp programs
  • Adult services

  2. Once your email or phone call is received, you will be contacted within 1-2 business days to schedule a consultation.  A complete Intake Form is requested at this time.
  3. At your scheduled appointment, the Teen/Adult Services Coordinator will review critical information and develop an action plan to work towards identified goals.
  4. The Teen/Adult Services Coordinator will then gather resources and write recommendations.  Documents produced following consultations may include, but are not limited to:
  • Detailed Action Plan
