Thank you to those who attended the 14th Annual Milestones Autism Spectrum Disorder Conference on June 16-17, 2016 at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights. This inspirational, must-attend autism event was a huge success, bringing together 1,000 family members, educators, administrators, therapists, clinicians, and individuals with ASD to share evidence-based practical strategies and best practices.

Attendees engaged in 75 educational workshops that focused on field-tested ideas and met more than 100 local and national speakers who presented leading-edge research, concepts, and strategies. Educational workshops included four “Straight from the Source” panel discussions with first-hand perspectives of living with autism from moms, dads, siblings, and individuals with ASD. Keynote speakers were James Ball, EdD, BCBA-D, Autism Society Executive Chair, and Jennifer McIlwee Myers, Aspie at Large.

Participants met more than 50 exhibitors who showcased local autism products and services to help members of the autism community reach their potential and achieve the greatest level of independence.

Thank you to all of our attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors. We look forward to serving your autism needs throughout the year.

where I learn fresh ideas to collaborate with others in
Northeast Ohio and beyond.”

“Listening to a person on the spectrum is the best way
to become a better professional.”

-Rochelle Nyer, CCC-SLP, Conference Co-Chair

“Just when I think the conference can’t get better, it does. One special thing this year was that our son attended and participated in the self-advocate track. It was a life-changing experience for him.”
